Swim Team Practice
Our experienced and enthusiastic coaches will be returning for the 2021 season. PASDA has also announced that we WILL have in-person swim meets this season.
Summer Practice Schedule
Starting Friday, June 18th
Monday - Friday
SIGN-IN Sheet Every Practice
We ask that team members please sign-in when they arrive at practice. Sign-in sheets will be at the Pool entrance table. Team members will not be penalized for missing practice, rather the list is helpful for coaches to know exactly who is in attendance to ensure the safety of our swimmers and divers. Please remind your child to only sign themselves in and not their friends.
PRE-TEAM Pre-team is for swimmers with a basic stroke, but need to improve technique and master all four swim strokes while working on building strength and stamina needed to swim the length of the pool. Swimmers may move from pre-team to team at anytime in the season that they are ready as determined by the parent and head coach. Swim team fees shall be pro-rated.
NO New Team Suits for 2021 - Use prior year or your choice
For 2021, LSA swimmers should wear any swim meet appropriate suits. We do, however, recommend all swimmers who do not already have an LSA swim cap purchase one ($10/each) to act as our "uniform" for meets this year.
We plan on getting back to planning for team suits next summer.
Swim Team Meets
We anticipate there will be approximately 5 swim meets this summer (possibly a combination of virtual and in-person meets).
The regular season dual meets for swimming typically occur on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between July 6 and July 22.
Swim championships will be July 26 and 27 in Princeton.
The LSA swim meet calendar with location and opponents is posted on the team calendar. You can also find more details about the entire league schedule at www.pasda.org.
Thank you in advance for your flexibility.
RSVP: Participation Sign Up for Each Swim Meet
This season, our coaches will be handling ALL swimmer sign ups to compete in dual meets, Mini-Meet and Champs this year. Participation in meets is fun and exciting for the swimmers and valuable to the team as a whole. Please make every effort to participate!!
Parent Volunteer Jobs:
Parent volunteers will be needed to help run the meets... and it's a great way to get an up-close view of the swimming action!
All swim families must sign-up to work 4 of the 5 swim meets. NOTE: while members, babysitters or other repesentatives can fulfill on your behalf, we ask that timers, time recorders, score table and place judges be at least 16 years of age.
